1. Bioshock
The reason why Bioshock is first should be common knowledge. I mean it is great with some nice guns that are antiques yet they kick ass. Then of course we have the special elements you can add to the guns. Not only that but Bioshock features a nice story driven FPS game and most FPS games are driven through multiplayer and their plots tend to be so-so that is why Bioshock got first place.
2. Crysis
Ah Crysis brings tears to my eyes when I think of the action and happiness this game gave me. This game features cool weapons an awesome suit and
intense action. Don't forget the great graphics and the detail as you see the footprints in the sand. This game is great and ranks 2 with a well developed story line.
3. Halo Reach
Halo has made some good games and now we have Reach. New weapons and new abilities offer a nice change up in the normal Halo game play. Now you feel invincible as a Spartan who can sprint and wreak havoc ranking it as third.

Even though it is old Counter Strike is a classic competitive first person shooter. Typical gun classes such as snipers, pistols, shotguns, rifles, and machine guns allowed for everyone to have fun in this competitive game that is the George Washington of FPS.
5. Call of Duty MW2
Well as much as I would despise putting this game here I have to. I am one of the few who dislike Call of Duty but I am not narrow minded and I acknowledge that it is a good FPS. Its fast, intense, has lots of guns, and it is fun (for others). It does what a FPS should do which is get the player's adrenaline going at all times.
6. Red Dead Redemption
The wild west is tough and here we learn how guns do hurt the human body. Bullets deal a lot of damage and this game also features a good story line of a bad man who turned his life around. The dead eye feature allows the player to slow down the game time and react better than the enemies. Also it is made by Rockstar and deserves praise since they do not usually focus on the shooting part more like the run around a city causing havoc part (GTA). Red Dead is still an alright shooter even if it is third person.
7. Borderlands
Cool guns, interesting enemies, useful abilities, and giant explosions. Borderlands is similar to Fallout and it has guns that use different elements. Some cause people to catch on fire while others cause them to corrode and die from acid that burns them. This game is fun and easy to play making it number 7.

8. Rainbow Six Vegas 2
The game play is slow and requires you to take cover a lot and blind fire a lot. As realistic as it gets for war games we learn war is not fun. Usually it is a stalemate between two snipers for six hours like in the Hurt Locker. Rainbow Six is so-so and only takes eight because the weapons and attachments are very nice and they can be customized making that dream of a silenced sniper rifle come true.
9. Quake
It is alright and fun to kill monsters. This game has some very nice monsters that require some bullets. The hud of the game is my favorite part and it is easy to play. Not much can be said it is ranked ninth after all.
10. Elite Forces Navy Seals
Felt like I had to put this in since it is a really old game. Its old looks crappy and it was entertaining when I was a kid. Others don't think so much of it but I like it. Classic game for me and I enjoy holding AK-47s as much as the next guy.
