About Us

Chosen 4 Gaming was created as a product of WBHS’ first Literature in Gaming class. It is titled as such because only an elite group of four students – David, Joe, Dan, and Amy, could fit the class into their schedule. We are the Chosen 4. Our hope is that this blog can gain a following outside of West Bridgewater. Other classes that follow us will be able to change and evolve the blog to suit the viewer’s needs. After we have graduated we’ll continue to check in on the progress of our blog, to see how our little baby’s doing.

About Us:

David –
Hello my name is David and I love to play videogames and watch Japanese anime. I enjoy shooting games the most and I am currently a senior in high school. Videogames are my passion and I enjoy reviewing, playing, analyzing, and talking about videogames. I specialize in reviewing shooting games by analyzing the game play, story, multiplayer style, graphics, and music. I am a happy welcoming person who loves discussing videogames and anime.

Amy –
Hey, I'm Amy and I'm more of the Nintendo fangirl of the group. My roots are with the N64 and my console of choice is the Wii, but I dabble in Xbox 360 games with my friends on occasion. I like RPGs the most but I can enjoy a good shooter (NAZI ZOMBIES!!!) and other genres at well. I love to play video games but sometimes I don't get to play enough of them, which makes me sad. My other passions are fine arts, creative writing, sleep, and computers. I'm a fairly bubbly person who loves to hug people, so when that internet hugging invention finally gets patented, expect a hug from me!

Joe -

Yo, what’s going on? My name is Joe. I am the all around gamer of the group.  I like all types of games and whatnot. I like FPS to sandbox to RPG and everything in between. The systems I have are PS2, GameCube, Xbox 360 and a gaming PC. I mostly play Xbox though. I’m a pretty random/strange person in real life. I tend to point the finger at my ADD for that one though.  I love technology, music, and just anything that will give me some knowledge. A main passion of mine would definitely be skateboarding. A few of my favorite games would be Star Fox 64, the Halo series, the Crysis series, the Skate Series, Grand Theft Auto, Final Fantasy and so much more than that. Talk to me sometime I guess?

Dan -
I have been surrounded by video games my whole life. I grew up watching my brother play Nes, Sega, and when N64 came around, I wasn’t going to sit wan watch anymore. My parents arent’ the type who think video games are completely evil, and they supported my gaming, paying for most of my Gameboy, N64, and ps2 games. I always loved the Mario series, Super Smash Bros. being my favorite game to play with my friends as a little kid. I like fps, rpg, and sim games. I love when games can incorporate good humor into games. I also look for how innovative a game is over simply going off titles. As much as I’d like to say I look for storylines in games I don’t I like something entertaining, explosive, and good online play. I don’t game nearly as much as most people I know. I’ll play COD online a couple times a week, and get a new game about once every two months, but I do like to play Sega, Ps2, N64, and Dreamcast a lot.
